Lucas was born in Berlin. His work focuses on portraits of artists, especially actors and musicians, but also advertising and lifestyle. Although photographers such as Jimmy Nelson, Andre Josseln or Elena Zaucke are not only role models, but also represent a source of inspiration, he is intent on developing his own visual language.  As an autodidact, he tries to follow unconventional paths without losing his personal touch. Everything serves the image and its story. Cinematographic image design and working with natural light are integral parts of his work.
